«Hours after the Israelis left the settlement of Neve Dekalim, young Palestinians were tearing aluminum window frames and metal ceiling fixtures out of the main synagogue there, as fires burned inside. The Palestinian flag and the flag of the militant group Hamas flew from the roof … The Palestinian leadership said it respected places of worship, but did not want the responsibility of having to protect buildings that many Palestinians want to tear down as symbols of «Israel’s occupation».

25,000 to 30,000 Jews were arrested and deported to concentration camps. More than 200 synagogues were destroyed and thousands of Jewish homes and businesses were ransacked. Hitler wanted to make a final end to the «Jewish and Communist occupation» of Germany and Jewish influence in Berlin.

Israel have never denied access to Muslims and Christians to their holy sites in Jerusalem, after IDF liberated Jerusalem from Arab occupation i 1967.
Before 1967, the Jews did not have free access to their Holy sites in East Jerusalem.
All Christians and Muslims should thank Israel for their grace, safety and protection in regards to their effort to safeguard Christian and Muslim interests in Jerusalem.
And to all Jews and Christians: You will never be granted such freedom in any Arab nation.
People of Israel: Do not give up your control over Jerusalem.

  1. Treatment of Jews and Jewish holy sites[edit]
While Christian holy sites were protected, and Muslim holy sites were maintained and renovated,[3] Jewish holy sites were damaged and sometimes destroyed.[4] According to Raphael Israeli, 58 synagogues were desecrated or demolished in the Old City, resulting in the de-Judaization of Jerusalem.[5][6][7] The Western Wall was transformed into an exclusively Muslim holy site associated with al-Buraq.[8] 38,000 Jewish graves in the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives were systematically destroyed, and Jews were not allowed to be buried there.[5][6] Following the Arab Legions expulsion of the Jewish residents of the Old City in the 1948 War, Jordan allowed Arab Muslim refugees to settle in the vacated Jewish Quarter.[9] Later, after some of these were moved to Shuafat, migrants from Hebron took their place.[10] During the 1960s, as the quarter continued to fall into decay, Jordan planned to turn the quarter into a public park.[11]
Treatment of Christians and Christian holy sites[edit]
In 1952, Jordan proclaimed that Islam was to be the official religion, and according to Israeli professor Yehuda Zvi Blum, this was applied in Jordanian-held Jerusalem.[12]
In 1953, Jordan restricted Christian communities from owning or purchasing land near holy sites, and in 1964, further prohibited churches from buying land in Jerusalem.[4] These were cited, along with new laws impacting Christian educational institutions, by both British political commentator Bat Ye'or and the mayor of Jerusalem Teddy Kollek as evidence that Jordan sought to "Islamize" the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem.[13][14]
In order to counter the influence of foreign powers, who had run the Christian schools in Jerusalem autonomously since Ottoman times, the Jordanian government legislated in 1955 to bring all schools under government supervision.[15] They were allowed to use only approved textbooks and teach in Arabic.[15] Schools were required to close on Arab national holidays and Fridays instead of Sundays.[15] Christian holidays were no longer recognised officially, and observation of Sunday as the Christian Sabbath was restricted to Christian civil servants.[12] Christian students could study their own religion,[15] but lessons in Koran were declared mandatory.[12] Some say there is no clear evidence that these laws were implemented,[15] but according to Blum, they were strictly enforced.[12]
In general, Christian holy places were treated with respect,[16] although some scholars say they suffered from neglect.[17] During this period, renovations were made to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which was in a state of serious disrepair since the British period due to disagreements between the many Christian groups claiming a stake in it.[18] While there was no major interference in the operation and maintenance of Christian holy places, the Jordanian government did not allow Christian institutions to expand,[16] and banned them from purchasing land.[7][19] Christian churches were prevented from funding hospitals and other social services in Jerusalem.[20]
In the wake of these restrictions, many Christians left East Jerusalem.[16][21]

  2. A heavenly maiden with an orb of gold
    Sits by the Mediterranean Sea
She gazes at the sailors and ships
    That pass by for eternity
Who are you? fair maiden, they ask
    What is your pedigree
I am a Jew, she answers, and that's my destiny
I am called Israel born of steel and fire
I have gathered my children from many lands afar
From East and West and South and North
    They came in multitude
And they have made me what I am
    In everlasting gratitude
I am their mother and they are my children
    That's how we both feel
Israel (my name) is a reality
    That adversity could not kill.

  3. Jordanian army blew up the Hurva synagogue in 1948
During British rule in Jerusalem the Hurva Synagogue was the most important in Israel. In 1948, the invading Jordanian army blew it up.

Jordan destroyd sites of Judaism when the Muslims occupied the city from 1948 to 1967
Jordan destroyed sites of Judaism when the Muslims occupied the city from 1948 to 1967
The Hurva, whose name means «ruin» was initially built by disciples of Rabbi Judah Hahasid in the early 18th century. It was destroyed shortly thereafter by Muslims demanding the return of loans given to build the synagogue.

After it was rebuilt in the mid-19th century, it became the most important synagogue in the country, but it was blown up in 1948 by the Jordan Legion a few days before the fall of the Jewish Quarter in the War of Independence.

In 2001, after years of debate, the government decided to restore the building.

Now Orthodox Jews and Ultra-Orthodox Jews have a debate on what kind of services should be offered in the restored synagogue. Should it be come a closes place of worship, or should it also be open to women and tourists.

Those who wants an open house of prayers, say the reconstructed synagogue should present the historical saga of the Jewish Quarter, display archaeological finds unearthed there, and be fully accessible to tourists, men and women together. The group wants to prevent a round-the-clock kollel (yeshiva for married men) from opening there, which would preclude any other activity.

However, for the ultra-Orthodox, the matter is unequivocal: “The question is whether this will be a synagogue and a house of study, or a display of all sorts of foolishness,” the Jewish Quarter’s rabbi Avigdor Nebenzahl said on an ultra-Orthodox Web site.

    My comment:

The Jordanian Kingdom of Islam showed its true colors in 1948. In a bid to delete the Jewish heritage in East Jerusalem, the invaders from the East blew up and destroyed 55 Synagogues and Jewish religious schools.

During the seize and Islamic occupation from 1948 to 1967, the Jewish people were not given access to this Apartheid state in East Jerusalem, and the so-called West Bank. It had become a closed Muslim zone, and a model for the racist state a new promoted Arab Palestinian statehood would look like.

In 1967 East Jerusalem was liberated by the Zionist state, and the city was again open to people of all faiths.

The Hurva Synagogue must be kept open to all lovers of israel and the Jewish people, tourists like me. The Government of Israel must display the evil of the Jordanian army. Let this place of worship forever be a testimony of how Islam tried and still tries to delete the Jewish heritage of East Jerusalem.

  4. No Jew has the right to yield the rights of the Jewish People in Israel -
    David Ben Gurion
(David Ben-Gurion was the first Prime Minister of Israel and widely hailed as the State's main founder).
"No Jew is entitled to give up the right of establishing [i.e. settling] the Jewish Nation in all of the Land of Israel. No Jewish body has such power. Not even all the Jews alive today [i.e. the entire Jewish People] have the power to cede any part of the country or homeland whatsoever.
This is a right vouchsafed (granted) or reserved for the Jewish Nation throughout all generations. This right cannot be lost or expropriated under any condition or circumstance. Even if at some particular time, there are those who declare that they are relinquishing this right, they have no power nor competence to deprive coming generations of this right. The Jewish nation is neither bound nor governed by such a waiver or renunciation. Our right to the whole of this country is valid, in force and endures forever. And until the Final Redemption has come, we will not budge from this historic right."

    THE LAND OF ISRAEL:

  5. Face it - No Arab-Palestinian state west of the Jordan River
If you read the 1917 Balfour Declaration (Which emulated Napoleons 1799 letter to the Jewish community in Palestine promising that The National Home for The Jewish people will be reestablished in Palestine, as the Jews are the rightful owners). Nowhere does it state an Arab entity west of The Jordan River.
The San Remo Conference of April 1920 which incorporated The Balfour Declaration into International Law with no boundary restrictions it does not state an Arab entity west of The Jordan River, confirmed by Article 95 in the 1920 Treaty of Sevres which was signed by all the Allied Powers and the Treaty of Lausanne.
The Mandate for Palestine terms does not state an Arab entity west of the Jordan River. It specifically states a Jewish National Home in Palestine without limiting or restricting the Jewish territory in Palestine. It also states that the British should work with the Jewish Agency as the official representative of the Jews in Palestine to implement the National Home of the Jewish people in Palestine. I stress again; nowhere does it state that an Arab entity should be implemented west of the Jordan River.
As a matter of historical record, The British reallocated illegally over 77% of Jewish Palestine to the Arab-Palestinians in 1922 with specific borders and Jordan took over additional territory like the Gulf of Aqaba which was not part of the allocation to Jordan.
The United Nations resolutions are non binding with no legal standing it does not create an Arab Palestinian state and it has no authority to change the April 1920 San Remo treaty or modify the terms of the Mandate for Palestine which has the force of international law in perpetuity.

No where in any of the above stated agreements does it provides for an Arab entity west of the Jordan River. The U.N. and General Assembly resolutions are non-binding with no legal standing, same applies to the ICJ. The Oslo Accords are null and void as state by Mahmmoud Abbas at the U.N.

Israel must disband the Arab-PA and take back full control and sovereignty of all the territory west of the Jordan River – All of Judea and Samaria without delay. Time for talk is over. Now is the time for action to restore our Jewish sovereignty in all the Land of Israel and stop terror and violence.

It is time to relocate the Arabs in Israel to Jordan and to the homes and the over 120,000 sq. km. of Jewish land the Arab countries confiscated from the over a million Jewish families that they terrorized and expelled and those expelled Jews were resettled in Israel. They can use the trillions of dollars in reparations for the Jewish assets to finance the relocation of the Arabs and help set-up an economy and industry instead of living on the world charity. The Arab countries were allocated over 13 million sq. km. (6 million sq. miles) with a wealth of oil reserves.
    YJ Draiman

P.S. Possession is nine tenths of the law – Israel has it.
Political Rights in Palestine aka The Land of Israel were granted only and exclusively to the Jews in all of Palestine and the right to settle in all of Palestine with no exclusions.

The Jewish people’s war of survival was not won when Hitler lost. It continues to this day, against enemies with more effective tools of mass murder at their disposal.
Plus we are easy to find now.
